Fusion Apps Road Maps
The Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications development team continuously enhances the application suite in order for us and our company to thrive. With the recent release of Release 26B, Oracle Fusion Agentic Applications are introduced, along with hundreds of other enhancements and new features.
Agentic applications represent a new model of work that is scalable in terms of speed and accuracy. Running on multiple AI agents, these applications enable execution of end-to-end business processes. Not only do they provide answers but also solve exceptions, make decisions and complete work. Now, execution is not limited by the human ability anymore.
A new way to work
Oracle has launched the Fusion Agentic Applications, which are a new category of agent-enabled enterprise applications which help redefine the way work gets done. The 22 agentic applications are now available within the Fusion Applications in ERP, HCM, SCM, and CX.
Agentic applications have brought about a revolutionary change in the design of applications. The agentic applications are goal-oriented workspace where the user sets out a certain objective, and special agents work together towards achieving the same. It is not the user but the agents who decide on the actions to be performed and act upon them.
The agent’s reason through enterprise data, understand the context, recognize the significance of events and make proactive decisions which need human intervention.
Unlike the usual dashboards or screens which provide the users with information, agentic applications provide insight directly to the users by informing them about what requires their attention. The users know about the changes made, the significance of the changes and what action should be taken next.
And here are some additional key highlights from upcoming Roadmaps:
• Enterprise Resource Planning updates consist of introducing a new agentic app Security Command Centre as well as introducing new AI agents like Ledger Agent, Payables Agent, Expenses Agent, Payment Agent and many others.
• Supply Chain and Manufacturing have introduced ten agentic apps, namely: Design-to-Source Workspace, Sourcing Command Centre, Cost Accounting Close Workspace.
• Human Capital Management provides seven agentic apps for hiring, learning, and managing employees. For instance, Hiring Workspace simplifies the process of hiring by minimizing paperwork involved in recruitment of retail store managers.
• Customer Experience is getting updates in Sales, Service, and Marketing Roadmap with introduction of three agentic apps such as Sales Command Centre which allows monitoring leads, evaluating churn and recommending next-best actions.
