What is Job Requisition in Oracle recruiting Cloud?

Job Requisition is a task by which we can hire an employee in the particular job domain. It can be based on job, position or based on predefined template.

How to create job requisition:

During the job requisition creation process, we can view the progress of the job requisition in the Progress tab. We can see the date when the job requisition was created, its phase and state, the start date of the phase, and the time spent on the phase.

Different types of Roles in Job Requisition:

Oracle Recruiting Cloud is a part of Oracle’s comprehensive Human Capital Management (HCM) suite. It offers various roles to manage the recruiting process efficiently. These roles usually fall into the categories of administrators, recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates, although there can be additional custom roles based on organizational needs. Here is a general overview of some common roles and their responsibilities:

Administrator

Manage configurations and settings.
Handle permissions and role-based access.
Run and analyze system reports.

Recruiter

Create and manage job requisitions
Screen and review applicants
Manage candidate pipelines
Schedule interviews

Hiring Manager

Approve or reject job requisitions
Review candidate shortlists
Conduct interviews
Make hiring decisions

Requisition Types:

Requisition Types can be Standard or Pipeline.

Standard Requisition type: Used for standard job requisitions.
Pipeline Requisition Type: Used for pipeline job requisitions. Contrary to the standard candidate selection process, the Offer and HR phases aren’t included in a pipeline process because no hiring occurs.

What is Requisition Template in Oracle Recruiting Cloud?

A job requisition template provides a way to facilitate the creation of job requisitions by defaulting values in several fields. It contains the same fields as job requisitions. If a job requisition is created from a requisition template, all fields for which a value is set in the template will be defaulted with the template’s value.

You can create three types of job requisition template:

Standalone
For Jobs
For Positions

Different types of Requisition Templates are present in Oracle Cloud HCM

Standalone Template: Template meant to be used by recruiters when they create a requisition based directly on a template.
Template for Jobs: Template meant to be used for a specific job.
Template for Positions: Template meant to be used for a specific position.

Job Requisition Processes
