SAP EWM is part of SAP Supply Chain Management Suite of solutions. The Extended Warehouse Management product is an integrated software platform for flexible, automated support for processing goods movements and managing inventory in the warehouse. SAP EWM is similar to SAP WM functionality, but with more flexibility in building objects like warehouse structure, picking, putting away, HU (handling unit), RF, and more.

SAP EWM gives warehouses a way to manage and control delivery to production or to end customers.

  3. In EWM System SAP Creates an Outbound Delivery Order.
  4. Create a Manual/Automatic Wave and Release it to create a Warehouse Task.
  5. Based on the settings the warehouse team has chosen, SAP EWM will pick stock from Correct Bin and Stage HU and packaging material and Loading Boxes.
  6. This step includes the confirmation of Warehouse Order.
  7. SAP EWM can be embedded with SAP RFUI for enabling the tracking of resources, stock on resources, and warehouse order (WO) selection.
  8. We can also print necessary Label for HU Generation, Picking or Shipment.
  9. Once Picking Packing and Putaway is Complete, then we perform Goods Issue.
